Actually you probably recall way back at the beginning of season 6 I made the statement that I'm expecting both Jack AND Kate to die.
they all must die except for the candidate
Not nececelery. They all must die for UnLocke to get off the island. Which I don't see happening. Therefore they all ain't gonna die.
Of course, who's to say (since he went into the cave before Sawyer) UnLocke didn't take it upon himself to cross out "Austen" just to mess with Sawyer?
