"You want me, hot lips?"

?

Eko sees Ana Lucia in a dream or maybe it's safe to call them visions. Ana tells Eko he needs to help John. Eko tells Ana that he was told, also in a dream, that he was to build a church.

The vision continues as Eko sees Yemi in the hatch and he tells Eko that the work that is being done there (pushing the button) is very important. Yemi also tells Eko that he must help John and make him take Eko to the "?".

Eko gets a small preview of what happens if the button is not pushed as the hatch begins to shake after the numbers all turn to "?".

Ana, back in the hatch (and not in a dream) is very much dead. Libby, on the other hand is not, which throws a monkey wrench in Michael's plans. He is worried she could tell what really happened.

Eko is in Australia in the flashback investigating the miracle of a drowned girl who come back from the dead. The girl is the daughter of the psychic, Malkin, that Claire went to see about her baby. Eko is referred to as "Father Tunde," although it is unclear as to whether this was his true surname or an assumed name.

After some persuasion Locke agrees to take Eko to the "?".

On the tape that the coroner plays for Eko the dead girl, Charlotte suddenly comes back to life and the whispers can be heard. Also she can be heard screaming, “Let John Locke go!”.

Kate and Sawyer break the news to Hurley about Libby.

Locke has a vision, in the vision Locke is Eko, and Yemi visits again.

Malkin tells Eko that he is a fraud as a psychic and that his daughter was never dead. There was never a miracle.

Eko climbs up to where the drug plane was first found by Locke and Boone and he sees the "?". It is explained that the "?" was formed by the earth being salted so that nothing would grow. Is that because the Peal hatch was hard to find otherwise?

Locke and Eko find the Pearl station. Inside, the Swan station can be seen on one of the TVs. There is the pneumatic tube as well as notebooks that all fit into the elaborate plan explained on the orientation video inside of the Pearl.

Wickmund seems younger in this video and he also seems to have both of his arms instead of just one like in the Swan film. Wickmund’s comments seem to suggest that the Swan station is really all a big psychological experiment and what is really going on with the button is all for nothing. It seems, to me at least, like their may be missing pieces from this video as well.

Locke looses his faith and he believes the Swan button is just a joke. Eko tells Locke that he believes that the button must still be pushed because he believes that is what they are supposed to do.

At the airport in Australia, Malkin’s daughter comes to see Eko and tells him that she saw Yemi when she was dead and that he sent a message for Eko. The message is that Eko was a good priest, Yemi has faith in Eko, and that he would be seeing him very soon.

Back in the hatch, Libby tries to tell Jack and Hurley the truth about Michael but she dies before she can.

Her death marks one of the saddest moments of the show.

THREE MINUTES

The events that occured while Michael was away looking for Walt are shown in this episode.

TPTB tried to play the sympathy card with Michael when they have him clean up the blood in the hatch. Michael wanted to know about Hell when talking to Mr. Eko, in other words, he wanted to know if he would be forgiven for his betrayal.

Is the vaccine Charlie finds the same vaccine Desmond is shown using as well as the one at the medical hatch and is it actually for anything?

Turns out the “light ‘em up“ trick that Mr. Friendly used was a sham after all, Jack was right.

Eko takes over the responsibility of pushing the button.

What was the deal with the area that the others took Michael? Was it a real hatch? Why did they take blood from him? After taking a sample of Michael's blood, Pickett tells him, "See you in the funny pages.". This is a direct reference to a line spoken by The Comedian in the graphic novel Watchmen.

Ms. Klugh asks some interesting questions about Walt. The most interesting being the question about Walt appearing in places he wasn’t supposed to be. Ms. Klugh says the same thing to Michael about not knowing much about his son as the lawyer said to him at the custody hearing.

As Charlie continues to build the church Eko and he began, Vincent brings him a heroin statue. This time, Charlie is smart enough to get rid of all the heroin.

Sawyer and Jack have another of their “frenemies” relationship building chats. Sawyer tells Jack that Jack is as close to a friend that Sawyer has on the island and that he "screwed" Ana Lucia. Jack tells Sawyer about Kate and him getting caught in a net.

Why couldn’t the others go after Ben themselves? Walt tells Michael that the others make him take tests. When Michael asks him what kind of tests, Klugh cuts off the visit.

Walt adds that the others are not what they seem and that they are pretending. In an attempt to make Walt stop she threatens him by saying. “Do you want me to put you in the room again?”.

Klugh gives Michael the list of names that he must bring back with him.

Sayid tells Jack how he feels about Michael and the plan.

Hurley’s sad goodbye speech at Libby’s gravesite causes Claire to give Charlie one more chance.

Just after Libby is buried, in a twist of irony, her old sailboat appears off-shore.
